BLAZERS DROP 1-0 GAME IN KELOWNA

GAME SUMMARY

The Kelowna Rockets scored with 30.8 seconds left in the game on a power play to beat the Blazers 1-0 in a WHL preseason game in Kelowna on Friday night. The Blazers record drops to 1-2-0-0 in the preseason.

Max Palaga had a terrific night in goal for the Blazers. The 17-year-old stopped 19 of 20 shots he faced in the loss. Cody Porter and James Porter combined for a 32-save shutout for the Rockets.

These two teams will meet again on Saturday, September 9th in Kamloops as the Blazers play their final home WHL preseason game. Game time is 7:00pm at the McArthur Island Sports Centre. For tickets, CLICK HERE, or you can purchase at the front doors Saturday night.
