BLAZERS HOST PRESEASON GAME TONIGHT

The Kamloops Blazers return to the ice at Interior Savings Centre tonight as they host the Victoria Royals. Game time is set for 7:00pm for the first preseason game of the season.

The Blazers are coming off a season in which they defeated the Victoria Royals 4-0 in a best-of-seven first round series. The Blazers bowed out of the playoffs in the second round as they fell to the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 in a best-of-seven series. The last time this hockey club was on the ice at the Interior Savings Centre was Game 6 of the second round of the playoffs. Trailing 5-2 going into the third period, the Blazers erupted for five goals and won 7-6 sending the crowd into a frenzy and forcing a Game 7 after initially trailing the series 3-0.
