BLAZERS OUTSCORED 5-4 IN VICTORIA

The Kamloops Blazers saw an early 3-0 lead fade away as they fell 5-4 in Victoria on Saturday night.

Jermaine Loewen, Joe Gatenby and Brodi Stuart all tallied first period goals for the Blazers. The Royals battled back as they would knot the game up at 3-3 through two periods.

The Blazers took the lead back in the third period on a goal from Luc Smith, but the Royals would score twice in the third period to take the game 5-4.

The Blazers were 1-for-6 on the power play, while the Royals finished 1-for-3. The Blazers outshot the Royals 42-28 on the night.

The Blazers will return home for game on Tuesday, January 16th when they face the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Game time is 7:00pm at the Sandman Centre.
