Terry Bangen

ASSISTANT COACH – TERRY BANGEN

Terry Bangen is in his third season as an Assistant Coach with the Kamloops Blazers.

Bangen previously was an assistant coach with the Blazers for five seasons from 1990-1995. He won three WHL Championships with the Blazers (1992, 1994, 1995), and three Memorial Cup Championships in the same seasons.

Bangen left the Blazers to join the Vancouver Canucks as an Assistant Coach, where he spent two seasons from 1996-1998. He has also had coaching stints with the Tri-City Americans, Cariboo College (Thompson Rivers University), McGill University Redmen and Hockey Canada. With Tri-City, Bangen was the Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations from 2005-2010.
