BLAZERS GET 4-2 WIN IN SEATTLE

GAME SUMMARY

The Kamloops Blazers won their second consecutive game after beating the Seattle Thunderbirds 4-2 on the road on Saturday night.

The Blazers put themselves in a good spot to start the game. Nick Chyzowski scored 1:30 in on a deflection on the power play. Ondrej Vala then tallied on a quick shot to give the Blazers an early 2-0 lead.

The Thunderbirds came back in the second period with two goals. Blake Bargar and Nolan Volcan each scored to tie the game.

Quinn Benjafield gave the Blazers the lead late in the second period on a great set up by Garrett Pilon.

The Blazers locked it down in the third period, giving up only three shots and Jermaine Loewen added an empty net goal to make it a 4-2 final.

With the win, the Blazers record improves to 7-12-0-0 on the season.
