BLAZERS LOSE 5-4 TO GIANTS

The Kamloops Blazers battled back from a 4-0 deficit but fell 5-4 in Langley to the Vancouver Giants on Saturday night.

After being down 4-0 early in the second period, the Blazers rallied with three straight goals from Joe Gatenby, Jermaine Loewen and Luc Smith.

The Giants led 5-3 through two periods, but Nolan Kneen scored to make it a 5-4 game.

The Blazers pushed with the net empty but did not score in a 5-4 loss.

After playing 15 games in the last 25 days, the Blazers will get the week off until a home game against Kelowna on Friday, March 9
