BLAZERS OPEN WHL PRESEASON WITH 5-3 WIN

The Kamloops Blazers opened the 2017 WHL Preseason with a 5-3 win over the Victoria Royals on Friday night at home.

Erik Miller scored twice in the win for the Blazers, while linemate Brodi Stuart picked up two assists.

Carson Denomie, Garrett Pilon and Jermaine Loewen were the other Blazers goal scorers in the win.

Dylan Ferguson went the distance in goal with 25 saves in goal.

The Blazers will get the rest of the weekend off before playing in Kelowna on Tuesday, September 6th. The Blazers next home preseason game will be on Saturday, September 10th at McArthur Island Sports Centre.
