The Kamloops Blazers were robbed on their Teddy Bear toss night as they were shutout 4-0 to the Kootenay Ice.
The Blazers scored 10:45 into the first period, but the goal was called back. It was deemed that Brodi Stuart interfered with the goaltender. The bears went flying anyways as the Blazers were robbed of the teddy bear goal moment.
The Ice would score shortly after the disallowed goal as Dallas Hines tallied his second of the season off the rush.
The Blazers pushed in the second period. They had chances, hit posts but were denied a goal. Sebastrian Streu would make it 2-0 for Kootenay late in the period.
Playing their third game in as many nights caught up to the Blazers in the third period as the Ice scored twice to make it a 4-0 final.
The Blazers were forced to kill off eight penalties on the night including two 5-on-3 power plays. The Ice went 1-for-8 on with the man advantage and the Blazers went 0-for-4.
The Blazers will now head out on the road for six games as they will tour the East Division before the Christmas break.
