BLAZERS WITH A 5-1 WIN OVER GIANTS

The Kamloops Blazers won 5-1 for the second straight game on home ice on Friday night.

Ryley Appelt opened the scoring with his fourth goal of the season on a great play from linemates Travis Walton and Justin Sigrist.

Connor Zary made it 2-0 with a power play goal early in the second period.

The Blazers made it 3-0 early in the third period as Brady Reagan made a great pass to Luc Smith who scored his 18th of the season.

Smith added his 19th goal on an odd man rush and Reagan rounded out the scoring to give the Blazers a 5-1 win.

Dylan Ferguson was solid in goal with 30 saves, while David Tendeck stopped 31 shots for the Giants.

The Blazers and Giants will play again on Saturday, March 3rd in Langley, BC.
