LOEWEN SCORES HIS 35TH IN 4-1 LOSS

Jermaine Loewen continued his career best season with his team leading 35th goal of the season in a 4-1 loss to Vancouver at home on Wednesday night.

Loewen opened the scoring in the first period, but the Giants responded as they scored three straight goals to take a 3-1 lead.

The Giants would add an empty net goal in the third period to make it a 4-1 final.

Trent Miner had a busy night in goal as he stopped 39 of 40 shots for the win, while Dylan Ferguson made 30 saves in the loss.

The Blazers will play their final home game on Friday, March 16 as it is Fan Appreciation Night! $20,000 worth of prizes will be handed out along with the team awards and plenty more!
