POWERPLAY GOAL THE DIFFERENCE IN 2-0 LOSS

A powerplay goal midway through the second period was the difference in a 2-0 loss in Vancouver on Monday night.

The Blazers had some great chances, especially in the third period, but were denied by goaltender David Tendeck.

The Giants were awarded four powerplays and went 1-for-4 while the Blazers did not get a powerplay in the game.

Shots were 26-24 in favour of the Giants as they added an empty net goal with less than a second left ont he clock.

The Blazers will head home to face to Victoria Royals on Wednesday night.
