KAMLOOPS BLAZERS ACQUIRE GOALTENDER MATTHEW KIEPER

Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 18-year-old goaltender Matthew Kieper from the Regina Pats in exchange for a 2023 fourth round WHL prospects pick (via Edmonton) and a 2025 sixth round WHL prospects pick.

Kieper is from Winnipeg, MB and is listed at 6’2” and 192lbs. He was selected by the Pats in the third round of the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.

Over 55 career WHL games, Kieper has posted a 23-22-1-2 record along with a 3.88 goals against average and a .873 save percentage.
