ULLY NAMED WHL PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Kamloops, BC – Kamloops Blazers’ 19-year-old forward Cole Ully has been named the WHL Player of the Month for September/October.
Ully recorded more points than any other WHL player in September/October with nine goals, 17 assists and 26 points in only 16 games.
The 5’11” and 180lb forward is a +14 which is fifth in the WHL. He was also named a game star in seven of the 16 games he played in September/October.
The Dallas Stars draft pick was added to Team WHL for the upcoming Subway Super Series against Team Russia in Saskatoon and Brandon on November 10th and 11th.
Ully has helped the Blazers to a 9-8-1-1 record this season. The Calgary native was the Blazers top scorer during the 2013-14 season with 30 goals and 72 points in 69 games.
In 203 career games with the Blazers, Ully has scored 70 goals, recorded 99 assists and put up 169 career points.
Ully is the first Blazer to be named WHL Player of the Month since JC Lipon in September/October 2012. Lipon put up 40 points in only 17 games to start the 2012-13 season.
