BLAZERS WIN 9-1 IN PRESEASON OPENER OVER ROYALS

The line of Logan Stankoven, Zane Franklin and Orrin Centazzo combined for 13 points in a 9-1 win over the Victoria Royals in the first game of the WHL preseason.

Stankoven finished the night with three goals and two assists, Centazzo had two goals and two assists and Franklin had a goal and three assists.

Alec Zawatsky scored twice and 15-year-old Tye Spencer had a goal in the win. Sean Strange picked up two assists and Kobe Mohr, Matthew Seminoff, Riley Ginnell and Reese Belton each had an assist.

The Blazers are back at it on Sunday, September 1st as they host the Kelowna Rockets at 2:00pm at the Sandman Centre.
