FRANKLIN SCORES TWICE IN 3-2 OT WIN OVER KELOWNA

The Kamloops Blazers battled back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits in the third period to win 3-2 over the Kelowna Rockets at home on Friday night.

Brodi Stuart scored shorthanded and Zane Franklin had the tying goal late in the third period and tallied in overtime to make it a 3-2 final.

Dylan Ferguson made 36 saves in the win. The Blazers were 1-for-4 on the power play and 7-for-8 on the penalty kill.

These two teams will meet again Saturday night in Kelowna.
