HAY SETS WHL RECORD WITH 743 WIN IN BLAZERS 5TH STRAIGHT WIN

Don Hay stands alone in WHL history with 743 career wins as he surpasses a 25-year WHL record set back in 1993 for Most Wins by a Head Coach in WHL history.

The Blazers rallied from a 2-0 deficit to score four goals over the final two periods to win 4-2 over the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday night. The victory was the Blazers fifth straight win.

Luc Smith had two goals for the Blazers while Quinn Benjafield and Connor Zary also had goals. Dylan Ferguson had another stellar night in goal with 32 saves.

These two teams will meet on Sunday evening in Portland at 5:00pm.
