HUGHES STELLAR IN DEBUT, BLAZERS WIN 3-2 OVER ROCKETS

Ryan Hughes had a terrific night in his debut as a Blazer with two goals and an assist, including the game winner in overtime, to help the Blazers to a 3-2 win over the Kelowna Rockets.

Zane Franklin had a goal and two assists and Orrin Centazzo had two assists.

The Blazers were 2-for-6 on the power play, while the Rockets finish 1-for-5.

Dylan Garand earned the win in goal with 18 saves.

The Blazers are home on Saturday night to host the Vancouver Giants. Game time is 7:00pm at the Sandman Centre.
